General Information
Angel Flight provides free flights to those who need to travel long distances to their medical appointment and are unable to travel by car or where commercial flights is unavailable or unaffordable.
Angel Flight acts as a co-ordinator receiving requests for flights from Healthcare Professionals and then matching Patients/Primary Passengers with pilots to fly the mission.
We also organise an Earth Angel (driver) to meet the flight and drive Patients/Primary Passengers to their medical appointment and back to the aircraft.
Medical Clearance
Angel Flight will need to request medical information from the referring Healthcare Professional. This is to assess the need for a free flight and to ensure Patients/Primary Passengers are safe to fly. All information will be kept strictly confidential
