Angel Flight has an on call a base of fantastic volunteers who give up their time to support Angel Flight missions. There are however costs that cannot be absorbed by Angel Flight pilots and Earth Angels alone.

Donations pay for the essential behind the scenes costs that ensure Angel Flight can continue to fly missions across the country.  This includes a commercial flight fund, for providing a flight on a commercial airline if an Angel Flight pilot and plane are unavailable.

Our Trust Deed clearly specifies that no Trustee or Board Member of Angel Flight New Zealand can be paid for their time when working for Angel Flight. Our Chairman/Founder and Board Members are unpaid volunteers as are our Mission Coordinators, Management Team, Pilots and Earth Angels.

Angel Flight is a registered Charitable Trust.  We were granted full Registration status under the Charities Act 2005 on 19 June 2012. Registration Number CC47808

Our Certificate of Incorporation number is 2555319. You can view our Trust Deed at no charge online at www.charities.govt.nz. Each year we are required to lodge a Form 4 Annual Return for a Charitable Entity along with our Annual Accounts. On our website each year you will be able to see our Annual Report.
