Angel Flight New Zealand takes off!
Angel Flight is a charitable organisation with the aim of "Improving lives one flight at a time" by flying qualifying passengers to faraway hospitals for non-emergency appointments free of charge. Successful Angel Flight operations have operated in Canada,USA and Australia for many years. Now a similar Angel Flight Charity has been set up in New Zealand for the first time by retired businessman Lance Weller who had flown a number of Angel Flights in Australia.
He has now returned to New Zealand and is now living near Whangarei.
